The project

A residence on the slopes of the Trikuta mountains, between a rolling valley, a koppie and a river below.

The concept was to understand the hierarchy of different types of space and play with it. The design is an interplay of open, semi-open and closed spaces, each with generous openings to feel the nature outside.

In the backyard is a kund, a small tank for rainwater harvesting that also brings positivity, enhances the interiors and has the best view of the hills. Exposed brick and concrete are used inside and out.
